AI Security Specialist

The AI Security Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of systems. This individual is responsible for delivering high-quality penetration testing and security assessments across various technologies, including web, mobile, network, and emerging technologies like AI/ML.

As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in cybersecurity, the AI Security Specialist provides expert guidance and recommendations to clients for improving their security posture. They also mentor and support junior consultants, helping to grow the team's overall capabilities.

The key objectives of this role include:

  • Delivering high-quality penetration testing and security assessments.
  • Providing expert guidance and recommendations to clients.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior consultants.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Conducting AI-specific security assessments, including prompt injection testing and jailbreaks.
  • Performing web application penetration testing, infrastructure penetration testing, code reviews, and/or mobile application penetration testing.
  • Exploiting vulnerabilities identified in client systems.
  • Creating assessment reports explaining technical and business risk of the vulnerabilities discovered, including remediation recommendations for the clients.
  • Communicating vulnerabilities to clients.
  • Managing project-related tasks as per communicated deadlines.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology risks and utilizing them in projects.
  • Participating in project conference calls and leading the technical content on those calls.

This role requires strong technical skills in areas such as web application and web services penetration testing, infrastructure penetration testing, and mobile apps penetration testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, including NLP, transformers, and LLM architecture. Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and experience working with at least one scripting language are also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate high ethical standards and have excellent English language skills. They must also be able to communicate complex vulnerabilities to clients effectively.

  • Expertise in AI/ML fundamentals, including NLP, transformers, and LLM architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as web application and web services penetration testing, infrastructure penetration testing, and mobile apps penetration testing.
  • Excellent English language skills and ability to communicate complex vulnerabilities to clients effectively.
