Chief Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity expert to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced security tools and technologies, as well as experience in scripting and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in security tools, including WAFs, intrusion detection systems, network firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Maintain a strong foundation in Linux operating systems and their security features.
  • Analyze and resolve complex cybersecurity issues through meticulous troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide valuable feedback on security tools and processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to strengthen our organization's overall security posture.
  • Develop scripts for process automation and system integration using languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and optimize workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with fundamental concepts of computer networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proven experience working with advanced security tools and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
  • Basic knowledge of containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or other orchestration tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
