Regional Cybersecurity Manager Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging role that involves overseeing the cybersecurity of one or multiple countries or subsidiaries? Do you have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience managing teams? We are seeking an experienced Regional Cybersecurity Manager to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and wants to make a real impact. As a Regional Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Acting as the cybersecurity point of contact for your region
  2. Functionally managing the Sites Cybersecurity Officers
  3. Deploying the Valeo ISSP (Information Systems Security Policy) within your region and assessing and improving the level of cybersecurity of the different sites
  4. Coordinating the cybersecurity incidents in your region
  5. Providing reporting of your region
  6. Contribute to the evolution of the Valeo ISSP and some Group Cybersecurity programs

You will work closely with our Global CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) and other stakeholders to ensure the highest level of cybersecurity across the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the cybersecurity point of contact for your region
  • Functionally managing the Sites Cybersecurity Officers
  • Deploying the Valeo ISSP within your region
  • Assessing and improving the level of cybersecurity of the different sites
  • Coordinating the cybersecurity incidents in your region
  • Providing reporting of your region
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience working in an international company in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge and experience linked to cybersecurity standards (ISO 2700x, NIST, NIS…)
  • Knowledge and experience in technical topics such as malware, patch management, firewalling…
  • Other infrastructure / network / system / database / application experience
  • Team management experience
