We are seeking an experienced Production Director to lead our manufacturing operations in Mysuru.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily management of manual insertion, FG production, and testing line production, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the SMT Line, PCB, and Unit Assembly line of Production, driving productivity and quality enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Team to execute Daily, Weekly, and monthly material planning, achieving Manufacturing Process Performance (MPP) targets.
  • Analyze and resolve daily challenges through Standardized Industrial Methods (SIM-1, SIM-2, SIM-3, and SIM-5).
  • Lead SIM-3 and SIM-5 alongside Heads of Department (HODs) from Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Warehouse, Facilities, Planning, Procurement, Safety, and Human Resources.
  • Conduct productive Production meetings to address productivity, efficiency, and Quality concerns, driving continuous improvement.
  • C Coordinate the day-to-day operations across Manufacturing inter-departmental functions.
  • Spearhead Knowledge Enhancement (KE) projects and improvement project activities in coordination with Support groups.
  • Actively manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) documentation and implementation control.
  • Review and recommend enhancements for existing inter-Department procedures.
  • Consistently monitor and control Non-Quality costs through corrective measures with the support of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tools.
  • Take corrective actions through projects to address customer complaints.
  • Proactively implement and maintain Supply Chain Planning (SCP) systems.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring and improvement of all production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive manpower planning for the plant and implement multi-skilling for the workforce.
  • Continuously monitor and refine daily production planning based on Operations Technology Demand Management (OTDM) requirements and Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Actively drive projects to overcome Repeated Barriers hindering the achievement of KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing manufacturing operations, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of standard industrial methods (SIM) and statistical quality control (SQC) tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including planning, procurement, safety, and HR.
