Business Development Manager
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive expansion within the US Accounting and CPA firm market.
- Sector-Specific Prospecting: Conduct targeted research to identify potential client Accounting and CPA firms across the US, understanding their size, specializations, and growth challenges.
- Targeted Outreach Campaigns: Execute strategic outbound initiatives, including cold calling and personalized email blasts, to introduce services (e.g. outsourced bookkeeping, tax preparation support, digital marketing for CPAs).
- Pipeline & Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Nurture relationships with firm partners and decision-makers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who understands unique needs.
- Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process for accounting firms, from initial contact and needs analysis to delivering tailored presentations, negotiating agreements, and closing contracts.
- Client Success Collaboration: Work closely with existing accounting firm clients to ensure satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities for additional services, and secure renewals.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep knowledge of the accounting industry, including competitive trends, regulatory changes, and specific challenges firms face in client acquisition and operational efficiency.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue achievements using CRM software.
Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven track record in business development within the outsourcing or related industry, with emphasis on lead generation, cold calling, and mass mailing.
- Strong understanding of the US market and business landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients effectively.
- Experience in negotiation, contract closure, and consistently meeting sales targets.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
