Job Title: Technical Connection Specialist

As a seasoned Technical Connection Specialist, you will concentrate on secure and seamless system integration to ensure the smooth delivery of new venue connections, streamlined migrations, and reliable trading systems support.

About the Role:

  • Take ownership of complex order entry and drop copy integration projects from inception to successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, exchanges, and external partners to gather requirements and implement efficient integrations.
  • Drive large-scale system migrations, platform upgrades, and technology transitions.
  • Optimize workflows, remove bottlenecks, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Participate in production support, release management, and ensuring system reliability.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in systems integration, preferably with exposure to exchange connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and experience with FIX protocol.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments.
  • Experience with C++ or Python is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and asset classes is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in hedge funds or investment banks is preferred.
