Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing customer satisfaction by developing deep relationships with key stakeholders in the supplier organization and partners. This role requires a strong understanding of the supplier's strategy and the ability to execute initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier-specific initiatives to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with channel partners and vendors to build strong relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Execute credit management, order processing, and AR collections to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and inventory to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop sales competencies and provide coaching to close deals.
  • Coordinate supplier training on new products and technologies to enhance partner capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience in business development or a related field.
  • Master's degree in sales or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to recognize important information.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to drive tasks to completion.
  • Ability to work under stress and pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and ability to maintain sensitive information.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and exhibit sensitivity to the needs of others.
  • Quick learning of new systems and technology.
Working Conditions:
  • Distribution center environment may include exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and outside weather conditions.
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • On-call availability required as necessary.
  • Professional office environment.
  • Frequent travel required (50%).
