About the Role: Premier Energies Limited is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to join its Procurement team as an Associate Manager/Manager – Procurement. This is a full-time role that will be based at our Corporate Office, Hyderabad.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for receiving Bill of Material from Design Department and seeking quotations from all vendors. They will make a cash flow plan to support the project, including constant update of the cash flow plan and costs incurred on the project. They will prepare comparative quotations and put up to management for decision. They will release purchase/work orders to vendors with appropriate payment terms and delivery conditions.
The ideal candidate will ensure timeliness of material delivery by regular follow up with vendors. They will follow up with vendors for material inspection upon readiness. They will follow up with vendors and transporters for delivery of material on time and in good condition. They will follow up with vendors for invoices. They will enter invoices into SAP. They will provide Weekly Financial Project Progress to the Management.
The selected candidate will maintain a database of vendors. They will ensure all work, workers, and movement are insured. They will support Tender/BD team in costing of upcoming projects/Tenders. They will work out various project requirements with respect to utilities, procurement activities and monitoring overall operations (Procurement & Logistics) for ensuring timely completion.
Requirements:
- A Graduate, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in Procurement.
- Awareness of products, functions, application parts and manufacturers.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process & Raw-Material.
- Good Negotiations and Analytical skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, SAP & Analytics.
