Purchase Engineer Job Opportunity

As a seasoned procurement specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating vendors to meet the mechanical, electrical, and project-related material requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and project-related materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Process purchase orders in line with project requirements and company policies.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to optimize procurement costs.
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain a database of vendors, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Track orders from acknowledgment to delivery, ensuring compliance with logistics and safety protocols.
  • Compile purchase reports, manage inventory control, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Support procurement planning, budgeting, and strategic resource allocation for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Proven knowledge of procurement processes and strategies in EPC/Projects/Water Industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/materials and their applications.
  • Vendor development, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Cost optimization, budgeting, and financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/Procurement software and systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Education Qualification: BE/B.Tech- Civil/Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
