Purchasing Manager Job Summary

Ambria seeks a skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of goods and services in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing by fostering strong partnerships with suppliers, effectively managing budgets, and ensuring seamless logistics processes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, coordinate with other departments to fulfill their purchasing needs, and optimize supply chain management for timely delivery.
  • Develop strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives, leveraging data analysis and market insights to drive cost savings and process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, and Contract Negotiation, with a track record of delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Strong Analytical and Budgeting skills, with expertise in financial planning and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management principles, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with a strong academic background and relevant coursework.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
