The Role of IT Procurement Specialist is a vital position within an organization, responsible for streamlining the approval of IT procurement projects and ensuring adherence to established procurement policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT industry procurements, encompassing hardware, software, services, and telecom.

This role involves working closely with internal clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to provide procurement services and support IT sourcing projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to process large volumes of requests while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the approval of IT procurement projects and ensure adherence to established procurement policies.
  • Work in either IT PR (procurement request) team or Invoice team to perform PR/invoice processing activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processing work through defined service level agreements based operations.
  • Liaise with IT vendors and internal clients globally for IT procurement operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, procurement, or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Procurement or Invoice analyst or similar position within the procure-to-pay function, preferably in IT procurement space.
  • Sound knowledge of IT industry procurements, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and working experience in vendor management.
