Job Title: Assistant Manager – Legal (Non-Maritime)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage a broad range of legal matters including litigation, contracts, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and legal advisory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Litigation Management
    • Assist in managing civil and criminal cases, as well as arbitration matters.
    • Vet and ensure timely filing of pleadings in Courts, Tribunals, Fora, and with relevant Authorities.
    • Maintain and circulate up-to-date MIS for all legal cases.
  • Non-Litigation
    • Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including agreements, MOUs, Lease Deeds, Trust Deeds, Letters of Intent, Service Level Agreements, IT, Marketing, Admin, and Outsourcing Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Powers of Attorney, Vendor-related notices and documentation across departments.
    • Conduct primary due diligence including title searches for property transactions and assist in the execution, registration, and formalities related to such transactions.
    • Handle applications for Intellectual Property Rights and conduct legal research on applicable laws, circulars, notifications, policies, and case laws.
  • Work Relations
    • Coordinate with internal departments to provide legal support across various functions.
    • Liaise with external vendors and legal agencies for contract execution and compliance.
