About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Head to lead our sales efforts in the education sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in institutional sales and a strong network in the education industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and opportunities across various sales segments, including corporates, schools, colleges & other institutions in the region.
- Set and achieve sales targets within each identified sales segment.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve regional sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients within diverse sales segments, negotiating terms and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional materials for each sales segment.
- Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities and additional revenue streams within each sales segment.
- Represent the company at marketing events and exhibitions.
- Drive business expansion by identifying and developing sales in new markets within the assigned region.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities across different sales segments.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in institutional sales.
- A strong network in the education sector.
- Fluency in Telugu.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the assigned region.
