Job Title: Site Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Site Operations Manager with 5 years + experience to oversee the successful execution of construction projects by maintaining site documentation, conducting preliminary site inspections, interpreting drawings, and ensuring quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including drawings, reports, permits, and correspondence.
  • Conduct comprehensive site inspections to assess site conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather information necessary for project planning and execution.
  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accurate implementation of design plans and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining site activities, progress updates, issues encountered, and recommended solutions for review by project stakeholders.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses to support budgeting and cost control efforts.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that construction activities meet specified standards and project requirements.
  • Review and authorize technical drawings and engineering plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, design specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate project feasibility, considering technical, financial, and logistical factors, and provide recommendations for approval or modification to project plans.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for all site personnel and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor project costs and variations, tracking expenses, identifying deviations from the budget, and implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain cost control.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Evaluate site operations and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide support to the project management team by coordinating site activities, resolving issues, and addressing project-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Undertake technical activities as required, including site surveys, measurements, material testing, and construction supervision, to ensure project quality and progress.
