Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Sourcing and procurement are key functions in a business that require efficient management to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. As a procurement specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers who can meet our organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a procurement specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a database of approved suppliers and keeping supplier profiles updated. They will also conduct supplier audits, site visits, or assessments as needed to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • The procurement specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities and develop strategic plans to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles.
  • Exposure to local and international sourcing is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
