Job Summary

Lloyd's Register is seeking a highly skilled Vessel Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Vessel Operations Centre (VOC) by assisting with essential daily operational tasks.

About the Role

You will be responsible for monitoring communications, data validation and analysis, data entry support, routine office administration, collaboration and process improvement, and reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communication through Sales Force, ensuring key information is shared with relevant team members in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular data validations to ensure accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Assist with data entry needs of the VOC, ensuring all data is entered into the system accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, organizing documents, and assisting with daily office tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain high standards of professional work and improve workflows and processes.
  • Utilize Power BI and Excel to generate reports, analyze trends, and present data-driven insights to assist in decision-making.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Advanced): Strong ability to use advanced Excel features such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data visualization for analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Power BI: Ability to create dashboards, reports, and analyze data within Power BI for visual representation of key metrics.
  • Data Entry & Accuracy: High attention to detail with a strong focus on maintaining data accuracy during entry and validation processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends or issues, and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure smooth information flow with Route Advisors and other teams.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, contributing to a positive work environment and ensuring departmental success.
  • Organization & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
