Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically managing and optimizing the flow of finished goods to ensure the correct inventory is available at the right location and time.

About the Role
  1. The Inventory Planner Specialist will review and execute short and medium-term supply optimization from given customer demand and communicate effectively with the organization.
  2. This role involves ensuring inventory stocking policies are followed for trade goods down to SKU level, including safety stock levels and order quantities.
  3. Maintaining process order On Time, In Full (OTIF) metric is crucial in assessing the quality of the plan.
  4. The Inventory Planner Specialist will manage IC-STO and track its performance.
  5. This role requires coordinating the execution of the supply plan with the responsible ISC Organization, effectively managing any exceptions with demand forecasts.
  6. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the ISC Organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities are reflected within the forecasts.
  7. Actively communicating situation on blocked stock to the ISC organization is essential.
  8. Determining the most appropriate inventory replenishment models that balance service, cost, and inventory based on business objectives using Arkieva Inventory Module is a critical responsibility.
  9. Maintaining optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess inventory involves analyzing demand patterns and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  10. This role also includes maintaining Arkieva master data (plant assignments) and SAP master data (replenishment parameters and Planning rates) relevant for the supply and inventory planning process.
  11. The Inventory Planner Specialist will be responsible for the process quality of NUSAP (new SKU creation).
  12. Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data related to inventory levels, lead times, enables informed decision-making and minimizes potential disruptions.
  13. Analyzing processes for inefficiencies and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, such as process automation and route optimization, is also a key responsibility.
