Job Title

Senior Oracle Exadata Database Administrator

  • This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, cloud migration experience, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The role involves working independently and collaboratively with clients across various Oracle versions and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and monitor database servers.
  • Develop standards and procedures for maintenance and modification of database platforms.
  • Provide systems architecture guidance in creating high availability systems.
  • Plan and support the implementation of major architectural changes.
  • Develop back-up and recovery procedures, including testing back-ups and data integrity.
  • Proactive and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of production database support experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems, including administration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Multitenant (CDB/PDB).
  • Working knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard.
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Experience working in UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred.
  • Experience automating database management tasks using scripting or orchestration tools.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a minimum salary of $83,462 and a maximum salary of $145,120, both in USD.
