Job Title: Cloud Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Architect to join our team.

Location: Remote

Experience: 5+ years

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable cloud database solutions using OCI services.
  • Migrate databases from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring seamless transition with minimal downtime.
  • Develop and optimize Oracle databases and associated applications, leveraging advanced features and best practices.
  • Monitor and enhance database performance, security, and availability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Enforce governance and compliance policies, maintaining data integrity and adhering to industry standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based database solutions, including networking and database management.
  • Strong hands-on skills with OCI Console, CLI, and APIs; proficiency with IaaS, Terraform, and Ansible is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database 19c and Oracle E-Business Suite v12.2.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Middleware, WebLogic Suite, and Exadata Cloud Service.
  • Experience with cloud CI/CD tools (preferred) and the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area.
