About the Role:

Jaguar Land Rover is innovating state-of-the-art automated driving systems for global deployment. As part of their ADAS team, you will support the development of the next-generation ADAS system, which will see vehicles progress to full autonomous driving by 2030.

To achieve this vision, Jaguar Land Rover is working on software functionalities that aim to build in-house software modules to maximize component reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

You will join a dynamic and ever-changing environment with daily challenges requiring strong problem-solving capabilities and ingenuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various tasks and work in a multi-disciplinary team to mentor junior software engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting
  • Understand requirements and develop high-level designs, decomposing them into detailed designs
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Create software detailed designs and support implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Excellent communication skills and liaise with global teams within Jaguar Land Rover

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Total 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in application design and development
  • Experience in owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects
  • Design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Good understanding of ISO26262
