Deputy General Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to lead our organization's tendering activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tenders for various sectors, including Oil and Gas, Energy, and other industries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Tenders: Responsible for the preparation of tenders across different sectors, including Oil and Gas, Energy, and PSUs.
  • Bid Management: Should have proficiency in end-to-end bid management/tendering for Govt. clients/PSUs, including technical write-up & cost estimation, subcontracting, JVs, consortium, client liaisoning, and project management.
  • Tender Identification: Identification of relevant tenders from PSUs, Govt. Agencies, and private companies through various resources.
  • Document Preparation: Preparing pre-qualification documents, EOI, BIDS, attending pre-bid meetings, etc.
  • Client Liaison: Maintaining excellent professional relations with clients as well as coordinating with central functions for bid compliance (accounts, legal, FICO, etc.).
  • Execution Team Coordination: Coordination with Execution team and maintaining relationship with all external parties for bidding job.
  • Day-to-Day Correspondence: Liaisoning and day-to-day correspondence along with legal contractual correspondences with customers.
  • Reporting: Generation of relevant MIS reports/tender tracking updates.
  • Order Booking Target: Achieving of order booking target from Tenders.
  • Documentation: Maintaining documentation and correspondence of BD activities and updating of credentials on regular basis.
  • Business Sales Forecasting: Business sales forecasting.
  • Empanelment: Ensuring new empanelment and renewal of existing one with PSU and other agencies.
