Job Summary

The Chief Manager will oversee the entire business cycle, from initial contact to final fulfillment. This includes managing work-in-progress (WIP) and driving strategic initiatives to improve business continuity. The successful candidate will lead data and reporting efforts for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management:
    • Strengthen relationships with distributors through regular engagement and performance monitoring.
    • Improve distribution team performance by engaging regularly and monitoring progress.
  • Managing New Business:
    • Manage new business issuance by ensuring daily traction on WIP to meet monthly targets.
    • Drive WIP clearance through hub teams to clear field WIP on a daily basis.
    • Hold regular governance calls with hub teams.
    • Oversee end-to-end WIP management.
    • Identify areas for improvement and drive process excellence initiatives to ease business operations and enhance quality measures for channel partners.
  • Data and Reporting:
    • Deliver reports and analysis on various business parameters to inform action plans for improvement.
    • Enable and support distributors with data sets, reports, and dashboards.
    • Collaborate with internal departments on report automation initiatives.
    • Prepare presentations for senior management as needed.
  • Control and Monitor Processes:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date SOPs.
    • Document and control changes in existing processes.
    • Process service requests according to defined SLAs.
  • Projects and Continuous Improvement:
    • Conduct benchmarking internally and externally to establish best practices.
    • Develop and implement new guidelines for distributor adherence.
  • Team Management:
    • Develop team members to perform effectively and efficiently.
    Measures of Success
    • Monthly governance engagements with distribution leaders.
    • Publishing the monthly issuance dashboard/scorecard.
    • Driving operational efficiencies with the distribution team.
    • 92% M0 Issuance.
    • 94% M2 Issuance.
    • FTR of 85%.
    • Resolving customer escalations and requests within TAT.
    • Completing 1 Green/Black belt project per year.
    • Talent retention with an attrition rate of >10% for G2M2abv.
    • Accurate reconciliation of business data/reports.
    • User-friendly customization of analytical reports.
    • Deploying initiatives for process improvements.
    • Aligning departments effectively with minimal escalations.
