Job Overview

As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process from planning to completion. This includes aligning production with organizational goals, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans that meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3-15 years of experience in the heavy fabrication industry is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, including welding, assembly, and testing is required.

  • Experience in executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in the rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
