Job Overview:
- As a key figure in the organization's growth strategy, the Capture Manager plays a pivotal role in qualifying and capturing new business opportunities across both public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
- The Capture Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategies to drive proposal success, including teaming, pricing, and market analysis.
- They will scan markets to identify potential opportunities and coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements.
- Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, driving the proposal process forward.
- Prepare compelling written proposals through collaborative concept development, information gathering, and writing.
- Develop and maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance.
- Produce compliant and compelling content leveraging industry expertise.
- Conduct thorough after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned.
- Identify necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions based on lessons learned.
Requirements:
- Capture-related experience for Federal or State procurements.
- A solid track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
- Demonstrated capability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of cost and financials.
- Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications).
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
- Ability to meet planned and unplanned deadlines.
