Software Quality Assurance Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our software testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with experience in trade finance platforms and web applications.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including test scenarios and cases.
  • Implement quality assurance best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze and develop complex test data sets for thorough testing.
  • Identify and select suitable test cases for automation and create, enhance, debug, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD framework.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, developing scripts as needed.
  • Suggest improvements on the automation framework.
  • Report defects and assist developers in understanding and resolving issues.
  • Analyze test results and track key software testing metrics.
  • Prepare and present detailed test reports.
  • Train and mentor junior software test engineers.
  • Oversee defect management and regression testing.
  • Maintain high test coverage of the system, striving for 95% or above.
  • Enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product developers, managers, and engineering peers to achieve optimal solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to contribute to forward direction.
  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Software Testing – Manual & Automation and Quality Assurance practice.
  • Experience with Trade Finance platforms is desired.
  • Strong background in testing web applications, databases, and APIs.
  • Expertise in various types of Functional and Non-Functional testing.
  • Proven ability to design and implement Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent results to clients.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
