The Team Leader role is a critical position within the organization, overseeing day-to-day operations in the Audit & Assurance Department. This involves ensuring timely communication with clients and delivering high-quality reviews of work.

A key aspect of this role is strong leadership, requiring the ability to mentor project leaders, manage client expectations, and drive operational efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily client communication on project status and report progress promptly.
  • Review team outputs (workpapers, audit reports, and certifications) and maintain structured review documentation.
  • Track and consolidate daily work submissions from project leaders.
  • Cultivate knowledge-sharing sessions and facilitate ongoing learning initiatives.
  • Conduct regular team huddles and meetings with senior management.
  • cascade training received from senior management to project leaders.
  • Guide team members to achieve performance benchmarks and maximize their output.
  • Maintain professional conduct at client premises and uphold organizational standards.
  • Prepare project observations for senior management and present them monthly.
  • Identify and develop potential leaders across various projects.
  • Establish internal project backups to ensure smooth handovers.
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated expertise in audit & assurance standards and processes.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing audit workpapers.
  • Familiarity with MIS reporting, compliance requirements, and documentation best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
