Customer Onboarding Role

The role of Customer Onboarding Manager is a critical position that involves creating a lasting impression of the company on customers.

This involves managing the customer onboarding process, implementing and reviewing the renewal pipeline, and serving as the product champion to drive adoption and expand features with our product team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve the customer onboarding process by building training, implementation, and helping customers create their first solutions on the platform.
  • Manage internal and external teams to ensure smooth account operations.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate process improvement and overall account health.
  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) for the platform and partner with clients to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities to expand within the account.
  • Resolve product support questions and work cross-functionally with product management to surface customer requests and translate customer feedback into product requirements.
  • Contribute to operationalizing the implementation function as the team scales.

About You:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Technical Onboarding Manager, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Consultant.
  • Experience in project managing customer implementations for enterprise clients or consulting with clients at Director, VP, and Exec levels.
  • Advanced understanding of SaaS and cloud-based software environments.
  • A builder mindset with comfort working in a startup environment and taking projects from 0 to 1.
  • Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, CRUD actions, database structures, and system integrations.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting technical problems and running projects where roadmaps and checklists are not standardized.
  • Ability to help define customer workflow/automation requirements, tease out nuanced details, and create net-new process diagrams/workflows with customers.

Work Environment:

This role is based in Chennai, India, with standard working hours from 11 AM to 8 PM IST.
