Job Overview

This role will provide critical support to our team by ensuring compliance with U.S. federal government contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review & Compliance:
    • Assist in reviewing and interpreting federal contract documents, task orders, and amendments to ensure accuracy.
    • Identify and summarize applicable FAR/DFARS clauses and compliance obligations to inform business decisions.
    • Support subcontractor due diligence and ensure required flow-down clauses are communicated and documented to minimize risk.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain accurate compliance trackers, audit files, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support U.S. reporting obligations (eSRS, FSRS, subcontracting plans, EEO/OFCCP reporting) to ensure timely submission.
    • Develop and implement organized contract repositories and document management systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Audit & Monitoring Support:
    • Assist with internal reviews and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA) to identify areas for improvement.
    • Track deliverables, certifications, and contract obligations to ensure timely compliance and reduce the risk of non-compliance penalties.
  • Proposal & Pre-Award Support:
    • Review solicitations (RFPs/RFQs) for relevant FAR/DFARS clauses to inform proposal development.
    • Prepare compliance matrices and checklists for proposal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Support:
    • Coordinate with U.S. contracts, compliance, legal, and procurement teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
    • Provide data, documentation, and compliance insights as requested to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in contracts, compliance, or coordinating with legal teams on contract terms, clauses, and risk (experience with U.S. federal contracts preferred).
  • Knowledge/Skills:
  • Good understanding of FAR, DFARS, and U.S. federal contracting principles.
  • Familiarity with compliance areas (EEO, Service Contract Act, export controls, cybersecurity requirements).
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and contract management tools (e.g., SharePoint, SAP Ariba, Deltek Costpoint).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
