Lead Data Architect Job Summary

This role will oversee the development and implementation of enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks to drive business growth and improve decision-making.

The Lead Data Architect will lead a high-performing team of data engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain large-scale, distributed data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture: Define and implement data architectures that support business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and R&D teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Communication and Influence: Develop and communicate data strategy and architecture to stakeholders and influence business decisions through data-driven insights.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of experience in IT, with 8+ years in data architecture/engineering.
  • Strong expertise in large-scale, distributed data systems.
  • Deep experience in CPG/FMCG data use cases, including CDPS, MMM, ProfitSphere, and inventory analytics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with cross-functional influence.
