Senior Sales Strategist

As a Senior Sales Strategist at Abbott, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing effective sales strategies in assigned markets. Your primary focus will be on driving primary sales, secondary sales, and ensuring brand presence in defined markets. You will also supervise and manage the distributor network to achieve desired sales objectives, ensuring the achievement of financial and ethical objectives of the division as per the business strategy.
To achieve this, you will have the authority to develop your customer management plan, approve expiry products, issue credit notes for distributors under your control, recommend appointments and credit limits for distributors, develop and execute resource utilization plans, and participate in Strategy Execution review meetings to ensure alignment.
You will play a crucial role in the Division's success, and your experience in handling Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and managing institutions will be valuable assets in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan for monthly and quarterly business.
Plan demand generation and fulfillment.
Monitor actual sales and make mid-course corrections to reduce variance against expectations.
Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitors' brands.
Create and update customer lists with specified numbers of doctors and chemists as per therapy/product requirements.
Identify potential towns and appoint distributors and customers in line with business philosophy.
Business Generation & Development:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by promoting company products ethically to customers as per the business plan.
Conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion in clinics and at chemist places.
Organize camps (CMEs) as per division strategy and customer needs.
Facilitate the process of successful new product launches in the territory by identifying and targeting customers, meeting them at pre-determined intervals, and providing effective in-clinic/trade promotion and feedback to the company.
Execute customer management plans to ensure all customers are covered as per the plan and meet minimum KPIs.
