Job Title

We are seeking an experienced construction estimator to join our team. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building economics, tendering procedures, and contract arrangements.

About the Role
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for capital projects
  • Advising on tendering procedures and contract arrangements
  • Drafting contract packages, including amendments to standard forms
  • Preparing pricing documents for tender packages
  • Providing guidance on tendering procedures
  • Drafting instructions to tenderers
  • Developing tender evaluation criteria
  • Drafting PQQ questionnaires
  • Evaluating commercial tenders and negotiating with contractors
  • Ascertainning amounts due to contractors for price variations
  • Determining claim amounts
  • Preparing monthly Cost Reports
Requirements
  • A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of QS & cost management processes
  • Chartered QS status under a recognized organization (e.g., RICS, SCSI, AIQS, NZIQS)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and IT literacy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to coordinate with global teams across multiple locations
  • An organized self-starter with attention to detail
