Cloud Service Delivery Specialist Job Description

This is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience in administrating cloud services, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) & software as a service (SaaS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage cloud infrastructure services such as virtual machines, databases, storage accounts, application gateways, load balancers, container orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Deploy and manage cloud tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, network security groups, etc.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates)
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in cloud administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of cloud services used for backup and disaster recovery
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent infrastructure as code (IaC) automation tools and technologies
  • Working knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the cloud platform and awareness of multi-platform solutions and capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • Desired Certifications: AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer
  • Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience
