Cloud Infrastructure Administration Role

This position entails comprehensive administration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Successful candidates will have a deep understanding of Tenancy, Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Compartments, Network Layers, firewalls, subnets, storage options, File Storage System (FSS), Block Volume, and Object Storage.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administration: Install, configure, migrate, tune, patch, administer, and monitor OCI infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
  • Terraform Scripting: Write and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and managing OCI infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure Performance: Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required to maintain high availability of infrastructure.
  • Security and Compliance: Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities while configuring/add new services as necessary.
  • Network Security: Provision Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts as a Service Sessions, and Public Load Balancer.
  • Storage and Compute: Provision storage, compute nodes, networks, and understand requirements for the same.
  • Certificate Management: Handle Certificate renewals on OCI.
  • High Availability: Understand and work with HA architecture in an OCI environment and strongly understand HA concepts in DR setting up infrastructure for a DR site.
  • Migration Experience: Migrate experience is a must, and migration tools should have been used.
  • Performance and Cost Optimization: Perform performance management and cost optimization.
  • Solution Design and Delivery: Analyze solution designs that accompany business requirements for technical delivery, assist in design decisions, develop, and implement cloud solutions.
Required Credentials:
  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional (Mandatory)
  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate (Preferred)

4-10 years of work experience in cloud administration and related fields are required.
