Senior Leadership Role

Job Description

This role plays a key part in our efforts to develop and support talented athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of athlete pathways, ensuring that they are structured, evidence-informed and aligned with our mission.

The role involves designing and executing comprehensive talent pathways from identification through to confirmation. This includes collaborating with marketing teams to create clear campaigns and publicity, as well as engaging in long-term strategic planning with senior leaders.

  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying, recruiting and confirming talented athletes.
  • Work with coaches, parents and other stakeholders to build relationships and ensure smooth communication throughout the pathway.
  • Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced leader who has a deep understanding of athlete development science and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results in similar roles and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven leadership experience in talent development and pathway management.
  • 5-8 years' experience in performance sport, preferably in Olympic or elite sports settings.
