Job Description:

In this position, you will lead end-to-end data engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Redshift clusters and SQL queries for performance and cost-efficiency, and serve as a domain expert for data modeling, architecture, and warehousing best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage data engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Redshift, SQL, and AWS services.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain data models and architectures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding and architectural standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in AWS Redshift, advanced SQL, and modern data pipeline tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and drive them to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python, PySpark, and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight).
