The role of a Finance Manager is crucial in managing financial planning, reporting, and fundraising activities across multiple levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed project-wise reports covering sales, collections, costs, and profitability.
    • Develop and maintain company-wide and group-level reports for consolidated analysis.
    • Analyze budgeting, variance analysis, and monitor revenue and expenses continuously.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations:
    • Assist in preparing fundraising documentation including financial models, pitch decks, and information memorandums.
    • Support due diligence processes by coordinating with bankers, investors, and legal advisors.
    • Ensure timely preparation of quarterly investor presentations with accurate financial and operational updates.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Build and maintain robust financial models for ongoing and upcoming projects.
    • Track sales pipeline, collections, and expense management to support strategic decision-making.
    • Conduct sensitivity analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Review and support preparation of legal and financial documentation for fundraising, investments, and banking.
    • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all agreements, term sheets, and loan documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, scenario building, data analysis).
  • Experience in preparing financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of fundraising processes, term sheets, loan documentation, and investor communications.
  • Ability to interpret and work with complex financial and legal documents.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for investor and leadership interactions.

Qualifications:

  • MBA (Finance) or CA Inter.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in real estate, investment banking, NBFC, or corporate finance roles.
  • Prior exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or project finance is highly desirable.
