Job Role:

As a Service Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of flight catering services.

  • Assisting the Service Operations Manager in preparing and monitoring operational protocols, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Conducting routine checks to ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, and FSSAI regulations.
  • Collaborating with the Service Operations Manager in maintaining updated flight schedules, inventory files, and menu specifications.
  • Ensuring staff are groomed and adhere to dress codes, maintain records for training sessions.

You will also be responsible for organizing regular training sessions for new staff and refresher training for existing employees to keep them updated on operational standards. Additionally, you will conduct periodic one-on-one meetings with departmental staff to address concerns and maintain harmony.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and fumigation records.
  • Verifying accuracy of check-sheets and delivery documents for flights.
  • Performing random inspections of flight operations at the airport.
  • Documenting menu or specification changes.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in HACCP, FSSAI, and airline catering regulations.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in both English and Hindi.

Education:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Adherence to strict hygiene, safety, and operational protocols.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Operational procedures of a Flight Catering unit.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Micros, and Fidelio (or any other property/point of sale systems).

Experience:

  • 5 years of minimum relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in Airline Catering Operations/Flight Catering, F&B Service preferred.
