Job Title: Strategic Financial Planner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to inform business decisions, focusing on Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) at various levels.
  • Perform in-depth sales analysis, examining profitability across different channels, regions, and customers.

 

  • Provide timely data support for marketing initiatives, including export sales performance.
  • Assist with documentation related to the Government of India's PLI Scheme, emphasizing domestic value addition on original equipment supplier deals.
  • Develop annual sales plans, detailing SKU-wise, category-wise, and segment-wise sales value and tonnage.
  • Compare these plans against previous budgets and current year estimates.
  • Facilitate management sign-off of annual plan documents.
  • Manage operating plans and rolling forecasts.
Costing & Margin Analysis:
  • Prepare daily product costing sheets for marketing purposes.
  • Develop and maintain actual monthly gross margin statements, highlighting product-wise, category-wise, and segment-wise metrics.
  • Conduct bill of material and gross margin analysis, focusing on OEM customer and export country performance.
  • Prepare monthly gross margin projections, detailing SKU-wise and segment-wise data.
  • Conduct year-on-year comparative analysis.

 

  • Generate a Finished Goods Holding Days report aligned with forward sales planning.
  • Calculate and analyze norms versus actuals, covering SKU-wise, category-wise, and segment-wise metrics.
  • Deliver accurate and timely revenue reports for senior management review.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business is required.
  • Professional certifications such as MBA, ACCA, or CIMA are preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing finance or financial planning and analysis is necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management systems is essential.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, data reconciliation, and reporting automation is expected.
Desired Skills:
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and advanced financial analysis techniques is required.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret changing sales trends and influence decision-making is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP and financial planning software is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills are necessary.
