Business Development Manager Position Overview

Jaipur Rugs Social Enterprise is a pioneering organization that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. This company offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using traditional art forms.

With a network of over 40,000 artisans across 600 rural Indian villages in five states, Jaipur Rugs has established itself as a leader in the industry. Its modern and eclectic collection of rugs, crafted from the finest wool and silk, has garnered numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries worldwide.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the luxury and design space through strategic sales initiatives. Key objectives include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to enhance revenue streams
  • Establishing strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and IDAs to drive project business forward
  • Understanding client requirements from interior designers and architects
  • Exhibiting excellent communication skills and relationship building abilities

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in sales or design
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Design, Marketing, or CRM
  • Experience handling project business through architects and interior designers
