Electronic Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Design Specialist to assist in the development of digital systems and circuits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Determine customer requirements and design architecture for digital signal processing systems.
  • Manage projects from conception to delivery, including risk assessment, schedule tracking, and design reviews.
  • Partition algorithms for FPGA and/or software implementation, identify building blocks and signal processing functions.
  • Predict FPGA resource utilization, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth.
  • Develop module-level details from architecture, coding, simulation, and peer reviews.
  • Maintain project documentation, especially design documents with detailed analysis reports.
  • Support customers during integration phases and provide production support.
  • Design digital function architecture, HDL coding, simulation, and implementation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in VHDL and Xilinx tools.
  • In-depth understanding of Xilinx FPGAs and hardware design principles.
  • Experience with functional simulation, logic design, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of FPGA design, VHDL/Verilog RTL coding, and System C/System Verilog.
  • Familiarity with ADCs and DACs, and configuration/version control tools like SVN.
