Job Description

As a system architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture of JD Edwards systems. This includes developing system architecture, partitioning functionality among applications and components, and ensuring interoperability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. Your expertise in software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development will be essential in this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong background in JDEdwards technology and good understanding of the JDE Technical area, including FDA, RDA, NER, and BSFN.
  • Experience with power forms, system architecture development, and partitioning of functionality among applications and components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot development issues and recommend solutions.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development.
  • Awareness of systems management and operational support tools.
  • Security and infrastructure experience would be a significant benefit.
Benefits

Candidates will be responsible for validating testing completed in the implementation life cycle of JD Edwards.

They will also be responsible for training internal JD Edwards technical teams on technical aspects and working experience on BI Publisher.

Others

The ideal candidate will have experience integrating JD Edwards with external systems using Business Services/Orchestrator.

They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze risk mitigation during systems improvements and provide recommendations for system improvements.
