Job Title: Databricks Systems Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Databricks professional to join our team as a Databricks Systems Architect. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable Databricks solutions to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy Databricks clusters, including configuration and optimization for performance and scalability
  • Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure automation scripts to ensure efficient deployment and management of Databricks resources
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and optimal data processing workflows
  • Optimize Spark performance, implement data caching, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality data processing and analysis
  • Configure and manage Databricks notebooks, libraries, and job scheduling to meet business requirements
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Databricks solutions, with a strong understanding of Databricks architecture and best practices
  • Expert-level skills in Terraform, AWS, and Azure cloud platforms, with experience in deploying and managing large-scale Databricks environments
  • Strong knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, and big data processing technologies, with experience in optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
