Backend Developer Role Overview

This position involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable APIs, managing cloud infrastructure, and driving AI-first backend innovations in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with frontend/mobile teams to integrate seamlessly with our applications. Leveraging AI tools for automation, rapid prototyping, and performance tuning will ensure continuity with our existing architecture and enable future scalability.

  • Architect and design a highly scalable and secure backend system using Node.js and AWS services.
  • Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support mobile and web applications.
  • Lead decisions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, Cognito, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, focusing on performance, indexing, and data integrity.
  • Integrate AI APIs/tools into the backend for moderation, recommendation, and automation workflows.
