Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled engineer to spearhead the development of our distributed systems. As a Principal Engineer, Agent Platform, you'll be responsible for designing and building scalable backend services that meet high performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and Build: Design, develop, and operate foundational backend services meeting performance and reliability standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews, driving best practices in system design.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Tackle challenging issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and system architecture.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a passion for writing clean and efficient code.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++), with experience in modern cloud and data infrastructure.
