Catalogue Manager Job Description
">The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of proven experience in catalogue/category management in e-commerce or quick commerce companies.
They should possess strong expertise in vendor management and negotiations, with hands-on experience managing multiple categories.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for this role, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the product catalogue across multiple categories, ensuring accuracy of product listings, pricing, descriptions, images, and availability.
Track sales, conversions, and category performance to drive growth, introducing new categories and product lines based on market trends.
Negotiate pricing, promotions, and deals to ensure competitive offerings, building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
Act as the main point of contact for vendor queries and issue resolution, developing and implementing category strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify and evaluate new vendor/partnership opportunities, staying updated on competitor activities and industry trends.
Work closely with internal teams to drive product visibility and category growth, supporting joint initiatives like promotional campaigns and seasonal launches.
Monitor catalogue KPIs (sales, margins, stock levels, vendor performance) and prepare regular reports on category performance, sharing insights with management.
