About the Role

Lead end-to-end factory operations across multiple shifts, managing teams to deliver safe, high-quality output at optimal cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute daily/weekly/monthly production planning, scheduling, and on-time execution across shifts.
  • Drive efficiency, yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); reduce waste and downtime through Lean methods.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recipes, and specifications; resolve floor issues promptly.
  • Plan Raw Material/Packaging requirements with Procurement; maintain optimal inventories.
  • Oversee manpower allocation, rosters, and overtime; collaborate with HR on hiring and staffing.
  • Lead factory trials and scale-up for new products from pilot to full production.
  • Maintain Food Safety System Certification, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and safety compliance at all times.
  • Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as volume, OEE, yield, waste, productivity; analyze trends and implement improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology or Engineering background.
  • At least 10 years of experience in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery.
  • Proven multi-shift management and supervisor leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients.
  • Strong command of production planning, inventory control, and Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Working knowledge of food-safety protocols.
