Industry Research Analyst

NelsonHall has ongoing vacancies for industry research analysts in IT services, offering remote working roles with a high degree of flexibility to suit qualified candidates globally.

This is an opportunity to liaise with industry leaders and become a leading authority within your areas of expertise, advising on offerings and strategic development, operational transformation journey, and providing market intelligence to major enterprises and multinationals.

  • The production of detailed IT services market analyses
  • Market forecasting
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and demonstrating thought leadership
  • Assessing vendor capability and producing NEAT charts
  • Tracking vendor news and announcements (including financials, M&A, contract wins, new offerings)
  • Developing social media presence and propagating research and insights
  • Updating the market forecast annually

Qualifications

Keenness to learn and absorb relevant IT services domain knowledge is critical, as is a liking for projects that require intellectual curiosity. Plus, a desire to become one of the leading experts on next generation approaches to IT services, including operational transformation.

A suitable candidate will have deep experience in the IT services industry, especially operational transformation, possibly in strategic marketing/product management roles and bid support, or an MBA with a desire to become an IT services domain expert and advise senior executives.
