Windchill System Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced system administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Windchill PLM system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Windchill PLM system for optimal performance and uptime.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed.
  • Configure and customize Windchill according to business requirements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement best practices for data management and system security.
  • Participate in PLM projects, contributing to the planning, design, and execution phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  • Experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles.
  • Experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
