Senior Product Manager – Digital Transformation

We are seeking a Senior PMO Consultant with strong expertise in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), particularly PTC Windchill, to lead a strategic project within the healthcare industry. This is a high-visibility program that will have a significant impact on global operations.
This role supports a major global initiative focused on upgrading and modernizing PLM systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless integration.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading IT projects in matrixed environments, with a strong understanding of PLM platforms, PDM processes, and Quality Management Systems.
The selected individual will be responsible for planning and executing the Windchill v13 upgrade, ensuring business continuity, platform modernization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
A bachelor's degree plus 8 years of related experience or a master's degree plus 6 years of experience is required. The candidate should also possess skills in vendor management, migration and upgrade experience, validation and regulated industry knowledge, communication and governance, change and adoption management, and budget and financial tracking.
Bonus points if the candidate has certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM / Advanced ScrumMaster, or expertise in Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and DevOps methodologies. Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Smartsheets, and MS Project would also be beneficial.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree + 8 years, or Master's degree + 6 years of related experience.
- Leadership Experience: 8+ years of experience leading IT projects of medium to large size in matrixed environments.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in the life sciences industry, with strong exposure to validation.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of PLM platforms (preferably PTC Windchill), PDM processes, and Quality Management Systems.
- Vendor Management: Proven experience with third-party vendors/SIs.
- Migration & Upgrade Experience: SaaS/cloud transitions, system upgrades, data migration strategies.
- Validation & Regulated Industry Knowledge: CSV/CSA, SDLC, and compliance frameworks.
- Communication & Governance: Steering committees, executive reporting, RAID management.
- Change & Adoption Management: OCM for upgrades.
- Budget & Financial Tracking: Cost sizing, forecasting, and financial control.
- Soft Skills: Hands-on leadership style with an ability to influence and engage teams.
