Job Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Manager to lead our motor design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from conceptualization to delivery of final designs.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality motor designs that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and projects to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and provide feedback to designers to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with design changes or updates, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical system design, with a focus on motor design and development
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Catia V5 and DMA design model management tool
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
